1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading or using Kalycs (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App except where permitted by law.

3. Ownership

  • All intellectual property rights in the App remain with Kalycs.
  • You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the App.

4. Local-Only Use

  • The App is designed for local use. All files and data remain on your device unless you choose to integrate third-party services.
  • We are not responsible for data processed by third-party providers (e.g., OpenAI when you enable AI features).

5. Paid Tier

  • Kalycs is a paid product available via official app stores (Apple App Store, Microsoft Store).
  • All purchases are final, subject to the refund policies of the app store provider.

6. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
  • You must not use the App for unlawful purposes.

7. Support

  • For assistance, contact support@kalycs.com.
  • We aim to provide reasonable support but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Disclaimers

  • The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee error-free operation, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the App.
  • If liability cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, it will be limited to the amount you paid for the App.

10. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms.
  • You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Children’s Use

  • The App is not directed to individuals under 16.
  • You may not permit a child to use the App in violation of applicable laws.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence, except where overridden by mandatory local laws.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website or within the App, with the revised date.
